What we do

PDFalo is a collection of simple online tools for everyday document work: merging PDF files, splitting them, making them smaller, and turning images into PDF. We built it because these small jobs come up constantly, for school, work, job applications and government forms, and many sites that offer them are slow, full of pop-ups, or ask you to upload private files to a server.

How it works

Our tools run inside your web browser. When you pick a file, it is opened and processed on your own device, and the result is created there too. Your documents are not uploaded to our servers, which keeps your files private and makes the tools fast.

• Clear and honest: we explain what each tool does, including its limits. For example, our compressor turns pages into images, and we say so on its page.
